Michaela

Dr. Michaela Abelgas Olson, is a 27-year old Filipino American who hails from Gainesville, Florida. In May 2018, she graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Mass Communications. In May 2022, she graduated Cum Laude with her PharmD: Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from the University of Florida, a prestigious Top 5 University in the country and #1 University in Florida.

 

She has been incredibly blessed to be very successful in the field of pageantry. She has won several state, national, and international titles from various pageant organizations. She currently hold the illustrious distinction of being the only pageant competitor to have won five national titles from some of the biggest and most prestigious pageant systems in the United States that includes National American Miss, International Junior Miss, Miss American Coed, Royal International Miss, and USA National Miss.

 

As a Junior Teen, she won two national titles. In 2010, she captured the Miss American Coed National Victory Junior Teen title. In 2011, she represented Florida at the Royal International Miss National Pageant and won the Royal International Miss National Junior Teen title from amongst girls across the country.

 

In 2012, she proudly represented the Philippines at the International Junior Miss International Pageant. Despite being the youngest in the teen age division at 16 years old, she was blessed to have brought home the coveted 2012 IJM International Teen title as well as the International Casual Wear Model award.  

 

In November 2015, Michaela competed in the largest pageant system in the country. She represented Florida at the National American Miss National Pageant held in Anaheim, California and won the highly sought-after National American Miss title. In addition to the National Queen title, she also broke the pageant record by capturing five other national titles in just one week of pageant competition at NAM Nationals, naming her as one of the most decorated pageant competitor ever in NAM history.  She won National Most Promising Model, National Photogenic, National Top Model, National Fashion Model, and National Casual Wear Model! This culminated her colorful National American Miss journey where she had won a total of 11 NATIONAL titles along with 3 State Queen titles and countless of optional wins throughout her Jr. Teen, Teen, and Miss competitions.

 

In 2018, Michaela captured her 5th national title as the 2018 USA National Miss. She also captured the National Casual Wear Modeling title marking it as her 5th straight National Casual Wear Modeling title. She also garnered the Highest Interview award. The pageant also served as the 3rd time that her younger sister Keisha and her both won national titles in the same pageant system (NAM, RIM, and UNM).

Pageants has opened a lot of doors and opportunities for her as it enabled her to indulge in her many passions. She has traveled to several different states to emcee state and national shows and events. She has also worked as a pageant judge in several state and national competitions. With her extensive pageant experience and her passion for helping young ladies achieve their dreams in the field of pageantry, she is currently working as a pageant coach, mentoring and guiding young ladies in their journey towards the crown. Michaela has worked with hundreds of girls across the country since the age of 17, garnering State, National, and International winning clients each year across numerous pageant systems. It is her goal and mission to help young ladies unlock the crown from within each of them!
